The Christian Life Planner is Now Free for A Limited Time!
/Update: the Christian Life Planner is no longer available for free, but it will be in the shop very soon! Be sure to check back next week to see how you can get your own copy.
Several months ago, I started noticing just how many planners are now available - daily planners, weekly planners, homeschool planners, business planners. You can get a physical planner or a digital version. You can even create your own with the popular bullet journal concept. You name it, and there's probably a planner for it!
In fact, there's really only one area I've found where planning seems to be nonexistent or even considered taboo. I've yet to come across a planner specific to spiritual growth. I think many Christians feel that planning for something that should be Spirit-led somehow goes against what the Bible teaches. The more I've studied this, though, the more I believe that God's Word encourages planning in all seasons, including our walk with Christ.
Think with me for a moment about the special feast and holy days mentioned in the Old Testament. Many times, God called the Children of Israel to prepare themselves for these occasions with ceremonial washing and abstaining from certain things and activities. And the high priest certainly prepared himself for entering the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement!
In the New Testament, too, we see preparation for spiritual things. John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming Messiah. Jesus prepared Himself for the crucifixion by spending hours in prayer. In fact, the times when people were most likely to get themselves into trouble was when they didn't prepare (remember Joshua and his agreement with the Gibeonites?)!
Based on what we see in Scripture, I firmly believe that it is right and good to prepare for our Christian walk. What we need to keep in mind as we prepare for spiritual growth, however, is that God may have different plans for us. We definitely need to pray, plan, and prepare, but we also need to be open to the Holy Spirit's leading, understanding that He may direct us down a different path than we had expected.
With all of this in mind, I've created a brand-new resource just for my subscribers. It's the Christian Life Planner, and I'm giving it away free to anyone who would like it! Simply subscribe here to get your very own copy. However, it's only going to be available for free until Friday, November 24th, so be sure to get yours right away! (This resource will still be available after the 24th, but I'll be moving it to my new shop for purchase.)
This special, 20-page resource includes goal-setting printables, sermon notes and prayer request pages, a bonus section with a Philippians study guide and resource section, and much more. It's my gift to you as you prepare for the year ahead.
I cannot wait to see how the Lord is going to work in and through us in 2018. Let's plan to deepen our faith this coming year with the Christian Life Planner!
